All is set for the relaunch of the Sport for All program in Ntcheu district tomorrow at Mlanda primary school from 9:00 am.
The relaunch will start with a healthy walk from Bomba filling station to Mlanda primary school where all the activities will take place.
Activities on the day will include; Bawo, Wheelchair race, Athletics, Draughts, Walking race, Football, Netball, Volleyball and Tag of war.
There will also be traditional dances to spice up the event.
Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) Board Chairperson Dr. Sunduzwayo Madise and the ambassador of the Sport for All initiative Inkosi ya Makosi Gomani the Fifth as well as Ntcheu District Commissioner (DC) will attend and take part in different sporting events.
All Traditional Authorities (T/A) and Chiefs that are under Inkosi ya Makosi Gomani the Fifth will also be at the event to show support for the ‘Sport for All’ program.
The ‘Sport for All’ initiative was introduced by MNCS in 2021 in order to encourage citizens to take part in sport and physical activities, regardless of age, gender or ability as only healthy citizens can contribute positively to the development of the country.
