The Head of State, His Excellency Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera has wished the Malawi national netball team, the Queens, all the best ahead of their games against the world number one ranked netball team Australia as well as their game on Thursday against Tonga.
President Chakwera encouraged the Queens to continue fighting and assured the team that the whole country is behind them
‘’Your great performance is worthy of celebrating including the well-deserved victory against Fiji yesterday, and I want you to know that you have made every Malawian proud. As you face Australia this morning and you also face Tonga, I want you to know that we wish you well, this whole country wishes you well,’’ explained the President
