Mar 14, 2024 | News

The Netball Association of Malawi (NAM) has announced the twelve players who will represent Malawi at the U21 Netball World Youth Cup 2025 Africa qualifiers in Pretoria, South Africa. The tournament will take place from March 17th to March 23rd, 2024.

Christina Mkwanda, the coach of Malawi’s National Netball team for players under 21, had invited 26 players to a residential camp two weeks ago to prepare for the qualifying games. The number has now been trimmed down to twelve.

The team has left for Pretoria, South Africa, today to compete against South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana, Kenya, and Zimbabwe for a spot at the 2025 Netball World Youth Cup, which Gibraltar will host.
