The program was introduced in 2021 with the aim of revamping school sport and identifying talent at an early stage.
It involves schools from primary and secondary from both private and public institutions. The games start at the zones, inter zones, district, division and the climax is at the national finals.
Seven education divisions across the country compete in the games and these are; South West Education Division (SWED) South East Education Division (SEED) Shire- highlands Education Division (SHEED), Central West Education Division (CWED), Central East Education Division (CEED), North West Education Division (NEED) North East Education Division (NEED).
