” What I have witnessed here is a testimony that as individuals we all have a role to play in as far as developing sports in the country is concerned”

” Constructing a sports complex individually and using your own resources is not a mean achievement, I therefore urge all citizens in the country from Chitipa to Nsanje to emulate what Mr Sande has done here in Machinga so that sport should develop”.

Mr Sande a police officer in Machinga has individually constructed a sports complex which comprise of a football pitch, netball, tennis, basketball and a volleyball courts and a running track.

Speaking during the event Mr Sande could not hide his excitement on the visit of MNCS to appreciate his efforts.

“Am very happy that the mother body of sports in the country has found it necessary to come here in Machinga and appreciate the works that are being done here”

“When I started years back I only wanted to have a running track where I can exercise as am also an athlete myself. To reach this level it’s all because of the passion of sports I have, I thank my mother, wife and family for supporting me all this time”.

During the event MNCS donated football, tennis, volleyball and basketball balls and nets to Mr Sande which will be used by the people around the community.
