The Malawi National Council of Sports conducted a football coaching in Chizumulu island between 14th and 19th September 2021.
The aim of the course was to reach out to an area which is usually sidelined but has a lot of potential to contribute towards the development of sport in Malawi.
The course attracted 20 participants, 18 males and 2 females.
The participants comprised of practicing football coaches, former football players, a teacher and a policeman,
The course was divided into two parts namely theory and practical sessions focusing on coaching philosophy. roles of a coach and training planning and organizations.
At the end of the course the participants were examined and are awaiting results.
